To Do:
1. Try to learn as much Portuguese as you can. Yes, Portuguese. If you happen to visit other South American countries and learned Spanish in the process, well, you can not use. Try to learn a word, common phrases and sentences. Remember that even if you survive the English in great cities, most people understand in rural areas who are not able to.
2. Avoid dark and isolated places, especially if you are alone.
